What do YOU want to be when you grow up? It's a question we frequently ask our children as they start to come into their own, but at Wannado City, Florida's first indoor role-playing amusement park, "kidizens" were allowed to try their answers on for size and choose from over 250 different career-themed roleplay experiences before its closure in 2011.

The Wannado City Preservation Project is a small website of mine dedicated to archiving written, photographical, video, and anecdotal material from Wannado City, a theme park I was lucky enough to experience in my childhood.
